it's Elmo time yes time to play
in sesame street,join us today
i have my blankie and lots of friends
Grouch and the Count the list never ends
in the bin lives a very grumpy guy
then theres Big Bird who cannot fly
remember when roller skates he went to buy?
Elmo and his friends teach us how to share
and to always tell the truth and to beware
of getting lost and what to do
if a new baby arrives and we feel blue
we learn our letters and when the day is done
there are sleepy time stories and songs
for bedtime fun.
