Just playing around.
Unfouturnatly Happy times end.....
We got older
I'm a girl
You're a guy
Why did it have to matter?
Tell me why
The last time I saw you
We didn't speak
Just one simple qustion
Does it make us weak
Maybe one day I'll see you again
But can those happy times last
can we still be friends
When I look back
I wonder what went wrong
Why it all turned out this way
I don't know what happened to you
Where did you go
There is one problem
I miss you
even though
I'm a girl
and You're a guy
I still love you because you were my friend.
Author notes
Ok this is about a lost friend I had when I was about 8 and I have no idea what happened and why we grew apart. It may be a kinda Lame poem but it's how I feel. Please tell me what you think and how I mite possiably revise this poem to make it better.

this poem isnt lame at all.
it reminded me of the old days with my friends. when i was a little kid, playing in the sunshine during the summer. before the days of the internet(lol).
thank you for writing this and taking me back to my days as a younger kid (im just a big kid now, haha)

I love it! it so true. i don't know why but mostly people do that is because the guy likes the girl but wants to be just friend or doesn't want her to know. So he stays away for a awhile.

I like it. it true that does happen, but hopeful you fined him again and become friends again. Cause i know thats what happened to me and we did talk four a year then my one friend became friend with him and then we became friends. Happy times..... anyway good poem.
