+You Are Our Halo+

Mark Aaron Brown
August 28, 1988 ~ February 5, 2008
In Loving Memory, By: Amber Lyn Dahl Brown

When times seem tough and everything turns gray,
All you have to do is smile and we feel your warmth like a sun ray.

As we come together, join hands, and look to Heaven above,
You are our halo, shining down with love.

You are the breeze that makes the leaves dance on the ground,
Even though you are not with us, your beat still rocks on: a joyful sound.

It is a happy memory, a footprint on the heart,
Never gone for good because our bond will never part.

You are laughter, love, and warmth in an embrace,
Someone like you can never be replaced.

So continue to shine Aaron, our halo of love,
One day we won't look up, but join you in Heaven above.

We Love you and Miss You Aaron

  • This is very sad, and touching. I'm sure your cousin would be proud. Thank you for your entry though I don't think it's what I was looking for.

This was a beautiful poem of dedication to your cousin I love the words s and the way you put it together and remembering who he was sad but at the same time you made your poem shine. I sorry for both your losses Halo and your cat.

Thanks for reading. H's my fiance's 1st cousin He was killed last year by a deadly tornado we had. It was very hard for my Fiance and I when we got the news. I called this poem "You Are Our Halo" because him and his buddies loved playing Halo 1-3 and I was also inspired by a song called Halo. But now Aaron is our Halo and he'll always be remembered.

      Thanks for reading.
