It's so white, I can barely see
my mother wakes and tells me,
"Today schools off, Mr Hudson said,
do you want to stay in bed?"
"No!" I shriek as if she's mad,
I dress up warm and tightly clad.
"Be careful you don't slip now, hun!"
"Alright I will!" I shout back to Mum.
My friends outside giggle with glee,
as they chuck little snowballs at me.
"Lets build a snow woman!" I laugh out,
"No boys allowed, we can do without!"
Mum calls me in for lunch and I sigh,
can't wait for the meal pass me by.
Head back outside continue my lady,
with a little kity cat and beside her, baby.
I hope it snows again tomorrow, no school!
As to work with snow outside is just cruel.
I hope the snowstress is still upright,
when I go to bed and disappear out of sight.
Tomorrow I will make a snow boy,
to love the girl and bring her joy.
Me and my friends we love our play,
outside in snow instead of rain.
Author notes
option
snow & day off school.
I don't go to school anymore but did a few years ago...wish it snowed when I was in school so I could do this!

"No boys allowed". Just snow boys to love the girl, lol.
I don't think there's a kid alive who doesn't delight in those snow days. Sorry you didn't get any but you have written about it in a funny, imaginative way.
