                              The Road to Emmaus
                                Luke 24: 13 – 15

Well hello once more my dear friend’s.
I’m going to share with you today one of my favourite Gospel stories.
It’s my one of my favourites, because the two disciples, don’t recognize Jesus, because He is in His Easter Glories.

It seems on Easter Day, these two disciples, were walking on the road to Emmaus,
Then along comes Jesus, but the two can’t tell it’s Him, because He has risen, He tells them please don’t make a fuss.
Eager to share their stories of the

recent events,
they invite this stranger to share their
Humble meal with them, and they tell Him that they do not have any tents.
They excitedly shared their news of
the crucifixion and death of their Rabi,
Jesus Christ.
The stranger listened intently with a smile on his face,
Then he bid them to sit and eat.
Then as He took the bread in His hands and raised it to bless it, they suddenly knew that it was Jesus.
As they looked at Him, He suddenly was gone.
There was a great joy in their hearts
knowing that they too had seen “ The Risen Lord ” that very special Easter Day.
