a sudden trespass,
should I let you in?
Couldn't see you for what you were,
A escape from my lonely, neutral world.
A boy, brushed red, to liven my black and white.
I fall like an April rain,
an open flame.
How could I let you in?
Oh, how unnatural, a boy who loves the same.
But, god, you're ever so inviting,
you're ever so mesmerizing.
I break like a fault line,
a fault of mine,
should have never let you in.
And now you wisp away,
in your haze of smoke
that had entranced me for so long.
I split like a fallen oak,
a gasping choke,
why would I let you in?
I have to free this weight,
desperate times, desperate measures.
So cliched, yet I can never take this back.
I crash like a freight train,
a splintered vein,
should've never let you in.
And the writing on the walls,
Freshly painted, simply announce,
'I hope to God you come down.'
