Walk Where U Can Fly

…So I’ll be forced to tell you why
Didn’t get 40 acres and a mule
Couldn't get my due in 2002
Ain’t had the chance at nuthin yet
You sit here thinkin Imma just forget
Such as the case with some of you
Such as the case with some of you

You feel whatchu got will do
Ya pockets fat is feeling cool
Well I got missin from that pool
Went and married yourself a class
You tell us kiss your acka back

Well you must be in some disguise
Oh Bouche got you hypnotized
No matter how you wanna hide
You don’t look like the other side
You don’t look like the other side

Ain’t no such things as blending in
Being in denial is such as sin
Cause when the trouble starts to brew
Care's where you sell allegiance to
They gone be quick to make examples
Be coming special to find you

They won’t be looking hard for me
I stays an apple in the tree
Don’t need no mirror for who I be
Don’t move an inch and I’ll tell you why
I’m a smart hefer realizing
I gotta walk where you can fly
I gotta walk where you can fly

Gone head divy up that equal pie
or I’mma always question why
Why you obtain the bigger slice
Won’t pretend I’m all inclusive
Which is the case of some of you?
Which is the case of some of you?

Still gotta walk where you can fly
I’ll get a big piece by the by
I'll get a big peice by the by

inspired by Chris Rock who said "the only thing he hates more than racism, is black people who pretend they don't recognize it".

so many think that what they leave behind don't stink and feel that walk on air for dirt can't touch them anywhere. We can laugh better than letting them get under our skin. I always like the chance to offer a helping hand when they got into something deeper than money can get them out.
    Love, Tom B.

thanks Tom...we all have to deal with the hands we are dealt but sometimes it nice dream about things being more even and every one having the opportunity to "build a house that is their own and not have it taken from them".
