Freedom?...No...Not free at all
all questions blocked, all answers stalled
I cannot see the truth anymore..
They say its belief in yourself or the Lord.
Everybody is full of their own corrections,
everybody’s thoughts in all directions.
May i ask that you stop?
all you do is sit, keeping time on the clock..
You know what i think, i think life is a lie..
Like a game, keeping score. You just live then you die.
So what is life to believe? So oblivious and vicious.
Its a plot, it’s a plan, its a scheme and mischievous
Is it freedom I need, even though i pay price.
Its a plan on a line, giving deaths taking lives..
Freedom?...No...Not free at all

I cannot believe in myself...or the Lord
Life is a lie, so please don’t believe...
Follow their rules, and you’ll finally be free

I feel the same way... I just try and be a good person. Treat others the best you can and be honest with yourself as often as possible... There can't be too much back lash for living like that in the end.

This poem kinda reminds me of it in a way. It is true that freedom is usually an understatement especially in religion. Why follow a religion if another one is going to say you are wrong? And vise versa? Why do we need a bible of guidelines to tell us how to live our lives? Did this God think that we could not decide for ourselves. After all he did give us free will, so why try to confuse our free will he created with the bible he wanted made? It's so controversal and condasending that it all gets lost overtime.

im an athiest, and ive ben under a lot of pressure to go to church..
i just CAN'T GO it makes me feel so.controlled..ya know?
