My dear poet...this is a sad saga. You have said your Good-byes nicely with an imagery that leaves one feeling your sorrow and pain. Often in life we seek what we cant have and despise what we do. As many, I know this feeling all too well. In regards to your question of whats left? Life no matter how short or how long is what is left. Love of family and friends, laughter, tears, sorrow and pain. All of these things remind us that we have another day to achieve what we might have overlooked. Find comfort in something that makes you smile...no matter how little and draw from it. Best to you dear poet.
