I keep starting to write and ending up with nothing.
Two lines, maybe four. Then I backspace it all into oblivion and start over, hoping this time it will come.
What is it that I want to say? Maybe I should ask around or just wait for another day.
It is not as though things have not happened all day, but somehow they have all fled my brain, and they are telling new thoughts to stay away.
I'm somewhere in the middle of just tired and sleep-deprived-driven creativity. Just enough exhaustion to make me completely dumb, but not enough to avoid brevity.
Oh well, it has happened before and will happen again. Hopefully when clear thought returns, I will have a pen.

i love your expression of writers block and your use of questions that you answer with in the poem
thanks for entering -
I enjoyed this. My favorite line was "Then I backspace it all into oblivion". Sometimes the rhyming was weird and hard to catch. Maybe if you formated this differently you that problem might be solved. But overall good job and goo luck! ~Des

The irony of it all!
This reminds me of a joke I read the other day.
It said, "I spent $400 on a membership to the gym and have not lost a single pound. Turns out ya gotta go there.

Ink pen necklace
Fled my brain'and are telling new thoughts to stay away.Tie that pen around your neck.I know exactly what your saying.I'll think of something and think that would be pretty poetry. Read Butterflies in Flight in my poems. That came about quickly while I had a pen
