To My Love

Even though the world is against us
and it seems our blue skies are turning gray
I shall not give up on the love I feel for you
for my heart will never stray.
Within my eyes you are the woman of my dreams,
the one who brings me hope
and such certainty to my eyes your tenderness brings,
while within my soul for you my heart screams.
You are more to me
that anything I could ever care about,
showing me such a world of love

Oh how my lips long to taste your tender kiss,
and feel your body next to mine.
To release this passion within
that to the rest of the world I do hide.
For they would never understand the meaning of true love,
of the passions and affections we do feel.
But to me all that does matter
is that within our hearts
this love between us is real.
And together
we shall create a paradise all our own,
where our love can grow
and flourish all on its own.
