In this vast jungle we call Earth,
I hear the roar of the King,
He is on the prowl for his next victim,
But I refuse to cower anymore.
Many years have past on my journeys,
Heart-breaks and losses,
Tragedies and failures,
But I will endure whatever I'm dealt.
I will no longer hide in the shadows,
No more peeking around corners,
Even if he is breathing down my neck,
I will stand tall.
I will brave the coming storm,
No matter how hard it pours,
Or how bright the lightning crashes,
My courage will still shine.
He threatens my dreams,
Feasting on what he believes is fear,
So sadly mistaken is he,
As I caress danger with passion.
I request his companionship,
To aide me in scaring away the jealous,
The envious, and the doubters,
I will succeed where they have failed.

This is really amazing
I loved the lines
I will no longer hide in the shadows,
No more peeking around corners,
Even if he is breathing down my neck,
I will stand tall.
thank you for great entry -
LOVED this entry. Thank you so much for this entry. You placed yourself in the realm of the card itself and lived it's teaching, and expressed that with poetry. It wasn't just the interpretation rephrased in a poetic way, rather a journey. Excellent entry!
As I caress danger with passion.
wonderful language.
Thank you so much for this thoughtful entry!
Best,
El

LOL what?? ANYWAY your card.
8. Strength
Symbols: Lion
Picture it; you're cornered by a lion. It's big, it's ferocious, it's got lots of teeth and you don't have any weapons and let's face it, it's been a while since you've kept up with your pilates. Brute force is not going to work on this guy! You don't need to fight this metaphor for hardship with fisticuffs, you need to fight it with courage, compassion, patience, determination, and action. So don't kick the lion in the head, toss it a tub of ben and jerrys chunky monkey and while it's too grateful for its chocolatey goodness to want to eat you scratch its ear.
See? Weird requests get weird interpretations
But it works. If you yourself are familiar with the tarot or have a buddy who is, feel free to use your or their interpretation.

Sorry
Old game show. I can't remember the name of it, but there was these little guys that pop up on screen if you get a whammy.
I'll try my best with this card. Thank you.
