Go

A love,
so strong she thought,
nothing could break their bond.

Nothing could tear them apart,
no one could change how they feel,
her for him, him for her.

Nothing mattered,
she was wrong.
You can't hold onto something,
that was never there.

Something that was,
never truly hers.
She can't keep him,
if he doesn't want to be there.

So today is the day,
she lets him go.

His toutch,
she will no longer remember.
His eyes,
she will no longer picture in her mind.

For she has let everything about him,
go,
For he is already over her.

    I like it!

I like it, it fits the theme of the contest but could use a little more imagery you provide some here:
    A love,
    so strong she thought,
    nothing could break their bond.

But let your emotions out, really get into it okay? Don't be afraid to let your emotions flow from the pen to the pad! Thanks for entering and good luck

  • Such a sad prose, the fall and rise of love is so dark it's sorrow is nearly unexpected even when he met a million heartbreaks. It still decits us and breaks us. Great write, I really liked it.

    Sincerely,
