“And I will renew
stronger than ever
despite the snowfalls
that seek to bury me"
under blanket of pain
With ruptured joy
tenderness will grow
from distress and wounds
where life will give
warmth and peace
Then, when ruptured
renewal will strengthen
to surpass life
from pain to Warmth

I think most of us have been on both sides of this fence. It's sort of the "glass half empty/full" thing. You have to endure a certain amount of pain in order to appreciate the warmth and peace of being whole again. Good luck in the contest.
