Woman!
Flesh of my flesh
Bone of my bones
I gave you birth,
So that you can give me life
Time and time again
Upon your kiss, I breathe
Life in me
Upon your gaze I see the vastness,
Of Eternity
As the Circle spins, within the tides of
Your love
I am a lover
Within your tender arms
A child
Within your sorrows
The one to kiss away your tears
Oh, thou Lady
Maiden, Mother , Crone
Within your loving arms
I am whole.

This sounds spiritual indeed, almost as if to conjure them up from the other side. Now you've got me all spooked. Great poem though, I can just imagine this being spoken in a movie with the whole dark mysterious scene set. (I know I'm probably way off track here, but that is my first impression)...alby

"As the Circle spins, within the tides of
Your love"
Here is the River and the Circle and the essence of all life-Love from cradle to grave. I love that you included the descriptor 'crone' in this write...it is, for me, a wonderfully rich image of wisdom... You should win gold...no, platinum for this one, my friend. Best wishes in the contest. Peace always, Rhonda
I do wonder what inspired this one ...or rather whom?...

There's a unique invoking creation, though old as time that beholds such a conviction of the place where a woman came. I am glad and comforted to feel the eternal unity through every word til last arrival of wholeness...splendid write

Gorgeous, Gentle Beauty
This is exquisite, darling Brother! I love the way you wove scripture into the relationship in such an incredibly loving way: as it should be.
This is a winner; and, I feel that every wife out there is this moment envious, wishing their husbands would think and write to and of them in this glorious way. GOLD!
Luv & hugs, SisBon
