Addiction at Thirty

Addicted to words:
I struggle to speak
They flutter like birds
With glued jagged beak.
What am I to say?
I cannot reply
From darkness to day
They carelessly fly.

Like 'I struggle to speak'. Think I know this feeling. Word addiction is a strange thing. I have had it for years - since I could read! I'm in the dictionary abuse phase at present. x
