Memories found
within the dawn
where affirmations made
enticements revered
within the day
and I look in your eyes and smile
remembering that life is only lived once
and one must grasp what one can
never letting the moment go
if one doesn't
life becomes empty and barren
so one must live beyond the shadows
returning to the mantra
that makes one feel
those paths of enjoyment
fulfilling dreams
and touching what must be touched
forgiving mistakes made in the past
and putting one's foot forward
taking that chance
on a path that means something.
