Final Surrender

Tacitly pleasing are the tempter's illusions that are born upon the tempest.
The premise, beguiling, is naught but delusion, though surrendering my Pearl, I list.
Judgment returns the pronounced conclusion--now never to mount Zion's crest.
Erelong to reap the whirlwind's persuasion, at the cost of my soul, acquiesced.
