Painting you from memory, I drew...
two hearts;
a flat line between them
nothing in the middle,
grows there… anymore.

You don't need the word "anymore." It does nothing for this piece.

JUDGED!
Interesting take on the prompt poet/poetess
"a flat line between them
nothing in the middle,
grows there… anymore"
I like that, well done
All the best to you in the contest

awh! So sad is this broken hearted Valentine. http://www.mv2media6.com/bank/images/broken%20heart.jpg

So sad when love flatlines. It seems once it does nothing can resuscitate it. I have been there and it is never easy, not to go through and not to write.

-
I liked the flat line... that's where I went with this too, kinda. Well done.
