now this is wales uk!

the pale artist comes silently
erasing the colours that cattle, sheep and farmers
have spent many months painting
with blood ,sweat and tears
leaving us an empty canvass
invitingly bare
in multi coloured wool
and wellington boots
we ll paint it with footprints
tobogan tracks pointing the way
from happy children to hilltops
where mothers sit with flasks
warm cocoa for cold hands
left to go cool by children
who,s laughter keeps them warm
now THIS is wales uk

photo taken down the road from where i live.
