The look in his eyes, that Christmas morn,
So reminded me of the day he was born.
A love that glistened so deep in his eyes,
To see he could feel it was no surprise.
His news he told to all around,
My pride it's height knew no bounds.
My heart went past my thumping tightened chest
The tears that fell, they knew I wished my best.
It's a step to make that can be hard and rough,
But all can be calmed by love when the going is tough.
The love that I see deep within their eyes
I can see will be forever until they shall die.
And with this prose a message I have for you
Hold to each other through good and blue
For love heals and makes us strong
And from the words above
I can see you two together belong

ah it is extra special indeed to many if you have a baby on christmas day, a good poem here that highlights that for many have strong religious beliefs.

I love this! I think the bride and groom will as well. I am hoping you will allow me to use this in their book. If so please add your name to the authors notes.
Best of luck to you in this contest!
