You and I met and happiness reigned in my heart,
Love blossomed from tender words and caresses so sweet.
Beauty was in everything we saw, all we touched,
Then your heart, aching for home, decided to leave.
Your love now lost to me, put in the recess of your mind,
My heart broke and so near to death, so near.
Now rainy days cloud the rain that falls from my eyes,
A shroud of water to cover the pieces of my heart.
Author notes
This is not, I think what you asked for but it just came to me this way. Prompts used Love, Death, Loves lost, Happiness, Beauty and Rain.

Nice one, like it

Just the second last line though:
"Now rainy days cloud the rain that falls from my eyes,"
It might sound a bit repetetive. Great poem though! Loved it

Seems you have incorporated several, maybe all of the prompts in this. Quite excellent for just 8 lines. If you list the prompts in the AN that would be nice. Thank you for entering.
