And the world seemed brighter
As my pen hit the page
I felt the world around me
Melt and twist
Like glowing metal and water
And timed seemed non-existent
And faded
With the pages of this journal
And how I loved it...
The way the words blended
Folded
Mended
Seemed so eloquent
And beautiful
And I wrote on
Methodically marking
Mannerisms mastered by
Myself
As the the light went out
And came back again
With it those bags under my eyes
"Oh no, not crows..."
And this popped in some
Inspiration
So I penned
And forgot
And how fun it was
When one journal turned to three
And three to five..
And how fun it is!
That I share it with thee...
