helped you leave your footprints,
I begged for reconsideration,
but January wouldn't allow it
blown-over and washed away,
yesterdays transgressions aren't mentioned today
just the most hopeless of the hopefuls remain,
we take reservations for their disappointment
feeding them sacrificial stew built upon the new cross
