Indeed it’s found.. True purpose, strength within.
Her days are full, her vision clear and fierce.
To need ! To want! Create new art, begin.
Mistakes were made. Self criticisms pierce,
but try and fail over again the path.
Throughout her youth , no quest for what she needs,
Just lived voraciously just lived to laugh.
Imprisoned herself threw away the keys.
As many have done before blamed her past,
To sooth she thought of mysteries and grace
So many years of pain she must outlast.
Spent girlhood hiding from her mother’s face.
Contorted rage the daily sign that boomed,
her worthlessness brought with her from the womb.
Author notes
"Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived forwards." Soren Kierkegaard.
I’ve written this trying to illustrate understanding a life backward, that is starting with now and going back to the beginning while communicating the importance of forward momentum .

A bridge connecting present, past, future. The past acting like a spring, to shape the future. Awareness and strength. Perfect balance, perfect sound. Accurate choice of the words, that match and mirror the depth of thoughts and reflections. I know that my poor English allows me to see only the emerging edge of the iceberg: as deep as I can understand and feel it, I love this poem!
Besides enjoying it, I'm learning so many new nice words!!!!

Ah, very thought provoking, loved this!

Now this is interesting. A lot can be understood of a writer by reading their work. Is life really worthless? I believe so from time to time, but always find that it isn't worthlessness that prevails, but meaninglessness. This is why I thik Kierkegaard said this orignally. How can we possibly understand what is happening without inventorying what has happened? When we do this I would agree that it is easy to find only the pain we lived with, it is stronger than pleasure. However, when we take what we can from it, then we can begin to really understand that, and I think I get that from your write.
This wsa a great write, and you have done well just by entering. It is always a challenge to take someone elses words and make them your own. -
this makes me think of "if i can do it all over again knowing what i know now" thats just where this takes my mind. I love this write, this seems very hard to write about, but you have the talent to pull it off. great scribe. much love and respect

hmmm this is a little like Kierkegaard the probing of things for meanings, and the wisdom that comes from experience makes the look back so revealing, so important...excellent ...PK
