Wrath is not a sin
It's a state of mind,
A release of self
Instinct unleashed and given reighn.
Only afterwards do we feel guilt
When the hunger is sated,
The blood has been spilt
And the beast caged once more.
We spend our lives in isolation
Hiding our true feelings,
We bind our passions
By rules and regulations.
Only in moments of stress
Do we become our true selves,
Our emotions give us life
Breaking every rule we live by.
There is no balance in life
Only bitter absolutes,
This is why we rage
Give in to our black desires.
But when we descend
Into the darkness of our wrath,
We feel truly alive at last
Breaking feel from our cage.
It feels good to destroy
To tear apart the illusions,
Why else do we smile
When we shout and scream?
Anger makes us feel complete
provides an outlet for frustration,
It drives us ever onwards
To an inevitable conclusion.
And when it is over
Uttering empty apologies,
We are not sorry for what we did
But sorry for enjoying it so much.

The way that you show wrath causing guilt was interesting and not something that was done in this contest. It showed thought and knowledge of consequence.
Thank you for entering my contest and good luck
Shari
