I wanna apologise for being myself for far too long

I only want to believe that I'm worth something more than this
So, here we are again
I'm shaking as the sun sets in my eyes
And I think
That some things
Are better left in the darkest depths of your mind...
If I wake, please take away the pain
And stay - promise you'll pray for me
I wanna be the boy I haven't been for far too long
If I wake, we can both sing our blues
And fade these memories on tattoos
I only want to believe that I'm worth something more than this

Very emotional, a well writen peice of poetry for sure.
