One tear is for the memory that no one got to see
One tear is for the memory that everyone misplaced
One tear is for memory that can never be erased
One tear is for the memory of a dream that time awoke
One tear is for the memory that exists now as a joke
One tear is for the memory that a scar now signifies
One tear is for the memory of laughter, love, and lies
One tear is for the memory
That's in between the lines
One tear is for the memory
That no one dare defines
One tear is for the memory
That's forgotten over time
One tear is for the memory
That hasn't reached its prime
One tear is for the memory of a heart that beat for two
One tear is for the memory of the pain that no one knew
One tear is for the memory that still echoes loud and clear
One tear is for the memory that's too faded now to hear
One tear is for the memory of random circumstance
One tear is for the memory of forbidden chance
One tear is for the memory of beginnings without ends
One tear is the memory of pain which never mends
One tear is for the memory
That no one else can share
One tear is for the memory
Of a far-off anywhere
One tear is for the memory
Of a home so filled with love
One tear is for the memory
That's never spoken of
One tear is for the memory of not so long ago

One tear is for memory of openings now shut

I loved this..specially the repetition and the perfect rhyming. With simple words, it manages to deliver a very deep thought...well a stream of thoughts actually. It's beautiful
