Emotions continue to cascade
Within myself whirling into storms
Powerless to contain they release
It flows into unsettling ears
It turns from truth to judgment
Judgment to neglect
Neglect to future containment
Desperate to confide
To someone yet determined
Hoping that one day
The determined will arise
Ears will be settled
Truth will stay truth
And Neglect will be only a word
And no longer an experience
But for now, they simmer
Seeing what they become
Outside of myself
They belong with me
In the midst of the my own thought
Torturing me and only me
