Darkness surrounds, black tears are shed,
the screaming resounds the words that I've said.
I'm all alone, the numbness is cold
and I can't take much more.
I need security I can't ignore
these feelings that are hurting me,
must find a cure.
Pain is rising, no more hiding
I can't fight this anymore.
From all the emotion I've been storing,
my once slow bleeding heart is now pouring.
I can't suppress, I can't digress
a pressure is pushing through me.
I just realized I let off my hate,
by yelling at friends in the worse way.
The guilt is too much, I'm so out of touch
I know I shouldn't be trusted.

Wow I'm utterly speechless That's how I am feeling. Words chilled me to the bone and the truth of isolation becomes clear. The images that the mind collects when reader your piece is greatly felt. Talented and creative write ever written good luck in the contest take care

Wow, i didn't know you were such a great writer, you should take a creative writing class i think i might next semester. But I was gonna tell you to enter a contest with this one but you did lol!!! Well good job lil sis, like me you are good with the emotions!!! we should make a book of our poems or something <3

I really liked this write, if you read back thru it and sorta compare it to edgar allen poes the raven it has a very similar measure to it, which is probably why I liked it so much LOL. I am a die hard poe fan. but other than that great emotions and I can relate to this write alot. keep up the good work and best of luck to you in the future and with your writing.
