Jacob And Raven (A Romeo And Juliet Story)

Jacob had it made, being the most
popular boy in school, and coming
from money, he never had to want
for anything. Everything was perfect
in his world, but one thing; her family
didn't approve of his Gothic girlfriend.

Raven was a Gothic punk, that was really
into art; writing poetry, drawing, wanting
to become a tattoo artist someday. She was
far from the pristine luxuries of Jacob's life.

He loved her with all of his heart, they had
even talked about getting married, then his
family would have to like her, being that she'd
be family. That was a sweet thought, but he
knew if he did so, it wouldn't be better, in
fact, he'd be cut off from the riches.

It got harder to deal with, to the point where
Raven was cutting and feeling more suicidal,
because she knew they didn't want them together,
and she didn't want to live without him in her life.

One day, she went too far and cut a vein real deep,
causing her to be bled out, quickly. Jacob had tried
calling her cell phone, but there was no answer, so he
finally got into his mustang and drove over there. When
he couldn't get her to come to the door, he broke into a
window and made his way in. He found her lying there, in
a pool of her own blood. He lost it, feeling he had nothing
left to live for, he picked up the knife and ran it across
his wrist, thinking, soon, he'd be with her, eternally.

His parents were so shocked and upset of the tragedy,
they buried them side by side, in their own family lot.
They never again, thought of themselves better than
anyone else. Too bad they had to learn the lesson the
hard way, losing their only son.
