i am so afraid
that if i let you go on slamming
doors and breaking hinges
summer would
pass us by with a lonely sigh
and it won’t be love we would talk about
but the cold of that month.
sometimes
the rays of your white-hot smile
brush past against my heart
and that’s when
i start shivering in your UV rays
and soft eyes.
you laugh
when i say that you are just like
a perfect Greek god
but with the sun
like an iris in your eyes
burning
furiously into my soul,
with the whole world captured
in that almost-perfect moment
i believed you really were.

This is very soft and surreal in its composure hun, very well penned. Great use of imagery to feeling, as you have certainly expanded in your poetic ability. Nicely penned. Thank you for your entry!
