There's No Way In Hell

As I stair at the horizon
The sun sets into the ocean
There's endless beauty as the darkness takes this day

My breath's steam 'cause the air's freezing
I'm all alone 'cause the city's sleeping
I hope one day I will witness this again

The sun falls and the sky starts bleeding
Listen close and you'll hear it screaming
It's on the wind, or is that just the voices in my head?

The city mirrors the graveyard skyline
It seems sinister to my mind
It's hard to think of what will happen long after we're dead

Can we re-write our lives with scenes we'd like to see
Instead of how it was always meant to be?
It seems there's no way in hell things will ever be alright
Maybe that's the problem
Maybe we're just waiting for things to go wrong

Right above these sleeping devils
The stars shine for us like angels
I hear heaven calling me, yet pushing me away

We all live and die in disaster
Some regret, some thrive on their past hurt
If there's a reason, tell me now. One reason and I'll stay
