Once upon, a Christmas Eve,
pairs, of shoes were dancing
heels high and heels low
while many eyes were glancing
Up and down the paintant floor
waves of music cast ashore
and in his eyes that sparkled on
I found the place where I belong.
Where painted wings can't fly away
when fragile hearts bend lightly
upon the gentle breeze that may
caressed by arms that wrap round tightly.
Fuchia petals flow and sway
as pretty girls just dance away
with glittered eyes and sparkling gems
drawing faces from their stems.
The gentle men all stand in lines
where strength and wisdom roam
and frowns and signs of misery
are lost beneath the sea foam
Where tones of laughter can he heard
with silver twitters of a bird
wrapped within the wind's embrace
who blows red embers on my face.

This needs to be put to music. It flows like a river. I suspect it would do well as a song too!
Thank you.
