Grand Mother Moon came one day
She carried Butterfly moon far away.
Up to the moon for the day.
Butterfly Moon watched little ones play on sleds
Go up and down the lovely hills.
Saw a few take some spills.
Some children were skiing
The were having a delight.
Twisting left and right.
Some made some snowmen
Some made snow ladies with a fancy doo's.
How the were busy playing the whole day through.
There was a riot
That caught her eye.
A snow ball fight, girls against the guys.
Grand Mother said to Butterfly Moon
I brought you here to be closer to the sun.
The sun will make you feel better after today.
As the day was dwindled away.
Back to earth she was bound.
She still had plenty of time,
To make Snow Angels around town.

Beautiful Poem
This was such a delight to read on a cold winter morn. Brings thoughts of spring right around the corner.
Sending warm hugs and big smiles to Ohio. Take care.
Bless You,
Sandy

great little poem my friend, I thought it was such a terrific piece. Found several spelling errors so I would check out your poem before the judge does. She can be tough...thanks for the laughs.
