Wandering in Fields

Wild
flowers
of the field
dancing about
bowing politely
all dressed in finery
little colorful garlands
painted pictorial scenery
release emotional wandering
psyche begins indistinguishable
gazing attentively at my window
wintery landscape appearances
blocking imaginary thoughts
breezy floral scent excite
remembering summer
mornings beckoning
to stroll amongst
grassy coves
lush green
fields

    Bandits Reading List

This is a bouquet from a beautiful garden, especially in these long months of winter. A delight for the poetic mind; I very much enjoyed reading this, especially with the masterful use of form.

    Well penned,

    Outstanding

This poem makes me look forward to the summer. This is a difficult form to write and I thought you did brilliantly with some very effective imagery suggesting the summer in the middle of winter. This is a skillfully written poem. Congratulations on the gold.

A beautiful poem filled with lovely imagery--can never get enough. It reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, in the garden.
