Letting Go

These harbored feelings
Break me down inside.
Why do I hang on
To sorrows’ sharp cliff
When I should let go?

There’s some comfort
Knowing I’m safe
Hanging up here
You can’t see hurt

But you should
See my hurt
I’m ready

So I
Freely

Fall

Well, the writing style has already been praised, so I'll only briefly add my appriciation of that. The mathematician in my enjoyed noting that the total number of syllables in each stanza were square numbers
The poem itself was rather enjoyed. It demonstrates thoughts and emotions that everone feels at some point, and I felt I could relate, having felt them myself in some sense, recently.

    Thank you.

I really like this style and I think you've demonstrated it very well. Your word choice for the last three lines was absolutely ideal for this style. You also have a simple elegance that I really like. Great work!
