My Inspiration, My Love

The thought of you bring such words to my mind
that haunt me until I finally write them down.
My heart within the words intertwined,
for you bring forth such passion never found.

My heart speaks with such wondrous feeling,
as I feel so alive while my pen scribbles these words so true.
Each stanza I write, my heart now is revealing,
such passion and love that is just for you.

Wanting to have them touch your heart so much,
and make you see all that love can really be.
While my body does long for your gentle touch,
as this love envelopes us in such an intense degree.

For you see my darling Beth,
these are more than words which are meant to be read.
They are what is in my heart, love's true breath,
longing for all doubt and fears between us now to be shed.

You are my inspiration, my hopes, and my dreams come true,
as I hold your hand and we start a new life for you and me.
Knowing that any problems that come around we will get through,
while each moment together fills our hearts with such glee.

I write these words to you coming straight from the heart,
so that you shall always know I love you even when we are apart.
