Albert was a postman long and lean
resembling a runner bean
This thiness he did hate
he urged his wife to load his plate
He bought Weight-on tablets, they didn't do the trick
didn't suit poor Albert, they made him very sick
One morning when delivering the post
a dog bit his ankle and where it hurt the most (unmentionable)
Limping back to the post office, sympathy would abound
Hello! Albert just back off your round
He told why he was limping in such a sad tone
collegues laughingly replied," the dog thought you were a bone!
