Adieus

“Adieus”

The 11th of September, Early in the morning.
A young couple said good-by never knowing that
it would be their last time together on this earth,
as they slowly parted with a smile on their face.

She boarded the big 767; she went and took her set.
They took of, and minutes later they were in the air,
Soaring across the sky the clouds passing by.

They had not yet cleared the city when four Men stood up,
and started threatening passengers. Few dared to scream, they grew restless.
Some at the edge of near panic
As the plane made a turn toward New York.

People called their loved ones for knowing that they’ll never see each other again.
She called him at the office.
And subbed into the cell phone, “Jack! We’re being hijacked!
I’m so scared, oh, what should I do”. She cried.

She had only 10 minutes of her life left as she talked to him telling him how much she loves him.
At last they said Good-bye for knowing that they would meet again, over yonder.
Were eternal live would ever be.
They said Good-bye one last time.

The plane was 20 feet away from the South Tower.
She looked out the window as time froze.
She never felt so alone, so much terror as they plunged into the World Trade Center building,
catching fire as it exploded sending 100s of people to their death.

He set in his office with his head in his arms; his whole body trembling as he wept.

That day 1000s and 1000s of people lost their loved ones. Their husbands, wives,
brothers, sisters, sons and daughters. And Millions were affected, allover the world.

Wow... good write.. It's so sad So many deaths... So many injured... I just pray that people turned to JEsus in those last minutes of their life. That was a tragic day. This was very well written. I loved it. I liked how u had it in someone from the plane's point of view through a lot of it. Well, good job and God bless!!
