My Mirage~

Missing image

Albany hair of silky length.

Shoulders

of graceful glance.

A portrait of petals reveal,

sweet savoir-faire in her sway.

A bouquet of beauty,

with aroma divine.

Breathtaking,

to the point of no return.

Warmth within her welcome,

gazing into pools aglow.

Mesmerized,

as if she uttered a whisper,

earthly ears should not hear.

Sandals sculpted of leather,

I bowed before her presence.

I lifted up my eyes,

She faded into the heavens…

And I,

into the night.

this is really beautiful, i love the imagery and how you described her as "Breathtaking to the point of no return"
i also loved the last bit
    "I lifted up my eyes,
    She faded into the heavens…

    And I,
    into the night."

what a way to describe her and to call her 'your mirage' which makes her so lovely and elusive...

    I lifted up my eyes,
    She faded into the heavens…

    And I,
    into the night.

even just for these lines, already justified the title

An excellent write that did justice to the picture. Seems like this person was definately bowing down to an angel that had visited in the night there. Such amazing words capturing the feeling of the speeker. Love the flow and the rhythm and I wish you all the very best in the contest.

Truly beautiful...a masterful use of wording to compliment your purpose. The last lines were amazing in just theirselves:

    She faded into the heavens…

    And I,

    into the night.
