I’ve seen a purple cow my friend
Though I wouldn’t shout it loudly
I’ve seen it on my nightly jaunts
Of this I am so proudly
As I walk home I see her pass
I stagger As I greet her
I chat a bit and stagger on
So glad that I could meet her

A pretty good effort here. Line 4 of the first stanza needs a bit of editing but overall I like it very much.
