It's sunny outside this Wednesday
I watch the sky through my window
Ignoring the distant sounds of laughter
(just like any other time)
Another day blending into the
blurry mess of wasted weeks
and hours
and seconds.
I'm quite good at drawing
and sketching
and firefighting
I spend lots of moments doing
all these things, just because
pretending to be an acolyte
and an achluophobic lullaby
doesn't quite kill the time
or my over-active imagination,
for that matter
but I guess it does keep me company
despite the pain it causes me
in my sleep.
But then again
it's not like anyone would hear me
anyway.
