The tangy sweet taste...
of fresh fruit....
right off the bush.
Seeing the world from ...
high up on someone's back...
In a basket.
I cry out...
the people who have been feeding me...
have been told to stop.
They stop...
but I am content...
that there will be more for later.
We are leaving...
we will never come back...
blueberry picking.

too much of this: ......
too little of this: metafores, imagery!!!
best of luck in my contest -
What a sweet memory this is. I could just picture you filling your little belly with those tasty blueberries, and the blue stain you must have had around your mouth. Great job on this poem! Thanks so much for entering. Blessings, Patty

awe I like this.
It's very sweet, and definitely goes along with the first prompt. Especially since it has all of the ellipses which creates that vagueness around the earliest of memories. ^_^ Great job here. Good luck in the contest
