A purple cow ? I wonder how
That lady was created,
And if she does regret it now
That she was thusly fated ?
And does she pine, alone at night
For bull of perfect colour ?
A little black, with touch of white,
To be her beaux, her lover ?

Very clever. I enjoyed this one. ~Pamela

I really liked this one! I think it is great that you actually wrote about a purple cow. Her story needs to be he(a)rd!

-
What a truly dreadful pun! I'm very impressed. Keep up the deft linguistics!

I LOVED IT! hehe
It gave Miss Bossie hope one day
when told by Frank the Cowherd;
A handsome bull would call today,
known here abouts as Howard!
When Howard's eyes saw Bossie's flanks,
he gave bellow melodious!
He clicked his heel and gave Frank thanks.
Now will Cow be Harmonious?

So funny
Well I hope she finds her mate.
And loneliness is not her fate
To pine alone would be so sad
Might make the poor cow go mad
This was a joy to read. Brought a smile. Best of luck. Smiles, Sandy

I recall long ago a discussion about the sad fate of Paul Bunyan's blue ox; however, he might have had blue relatives with pink friends... I like the whimsy set in serious sounding lines.
Good luck!

Holstein bull and psychedelic cow. A bizarre hybrid
