The Man's Best Friend

A woman grabs the shabby leash for her dog and grabs her fur coat
Calling out the dog’s name, the canine stumbles down the stairs clumsily
The woman scolds the dog for making such a clatter and she then attaches the leash.

Now they are outside and the dog is trotting along, stopping at trees and barking at cars;
The woman seems troubled by this and once more scolds the canine for disrupting her tranquility.
Too busy attending to the discipline of the dog she does not notice the patch of ice ahead.

She slips and lands on her knees
While whimpering to her self, a single tear collects in her left eye as she looks at the four legged creature
Confused about her sadness, the dog clears his throat and says, “Why are you crying? I am on all fours all day”
