Today was the day for remebering
All the smiles and laughs we shared,
for remembering all the things
we didn't get to say.
Today was the day our
Sister, Daughter, Best friend, Neice
And Mother of Jaila,
Was called by the angels
from up above.
Why they're so selfish?
We do not know.
We just have to be thankful
that we were lucky enough
to have you bless our lives
in the beautiful way you did.
We stand here today,
solemnly swearing to you that
Jaila will age,
never to forget you
and to never be uncared for.
You were more than a friend to most of us,
You were a sister.
So today we remember a life so young,
taken too soon...
And for tonight we lay our heads to rest,
remembering the loss of our Angel.

Lucinda, Brylie & Alex were killed in a car accident of which an unlicenced, drunk 16 year old was driving. Lucinda was like a sister to me, we used to live together. She has a daughter, Jaila, which she never witnessed turn one.
Our hearts will forever ache 'til we are reunited once again. x
