Teeth sharp pierce
yourflesh
over and over I am the mouth
that scars saliva traced stars,
I swallow you inside.
Slide within your aching veins.
I am the blood that gushes
as heaven rushes.
Grinding body parts
pulse, explosive.
Burning skin
we heat mercury to the point of melting,
blurry boundaries senseless in sweat.
Ribcages crushed become us
I open you and you open I, the sigh. Unified.
We were immortal for one small moment,
until the arsenic vapour poisoned us with self doubt.
Now we are lifeless, cold, blue and alone.
One pause between breath.
Minds are the shadowed silence,
lain in the stain, desire violently strangles us into submission,
confused and bruised,
hearts haemorrhage purple promise and distance makes us wonder.
What did you think

WOW
This was explosively amazing!

Hello Stella. This is one of the poems on here that I read word for word because of its maturity and its careful word selection. I adore it so very much. The world should be reading this right now. Thank you so very much. Anthony.

Hi Anthony thank you so much for your comment you know I hardly ever come on here anymore. I've only just started writing again every know and again. This was inspired by someone very special to me. Thankyou for your encouragement. Hope you are well. Clarissa
