We'll have to face these dark times,but we'll face them together
A little explanation
Stanza 1: Loss of jobs
Stanza 2: Certain degrees mean nothing with such little work, unemployment line
Stanza 3: People start going to the right and women loose rights, abortion illegal, poverty heightened
Stanza 4: Extreme right comes into power due to fear and poverty
Stanza 5: NHS lose due to right ideas
Stanza 6: No nursing homes for the poor
We are in a recession, in times of hardship people tend to move to the right. Im real worried, things will only get worse. Rights will be lost and so will important public services. The extreme poor will be left behind, like single mothers and ethnic minorities and the disabled.

Interesting, and very true. Things are going downhill so fast now. This poem kind of sends a jolt of reality to the reader. Very good.

With the way the economy is now it is hurting alot of people. No matter what we say or do, unfortunately with the way the world is it will only get worse. A fabulous and touching piece of work.
