Poison flushing through her veins
Radioactive zombie mother
Hair in clumps on the shower floor
Crying in her bedroom
She thinks I can't hear
At least the chemo
Will kill her hunger for brains
Author notes
My mother just started chemo today. It's her second bout with cancer. She's on my mind of course, and this little ditty is where that led.
